In recent months, the internet has been filled with talk about advanced artificial intelligence technologies from OpenAI, with one of the most talked-about technologies being DALL-E, known for its ability to create artwork using written descriptions.
Another popular technology over time has been ChatGPT, as everyone has been eager to engage in interactive conversations with the technology. However, things changed when Google suddenly announced its latest artificial intelligence technology called Bard. The service is similar to an interactive conversation like ChatGPT and Google has been testing it for two years.
Google will then release a stronger version of the service for limited testing in the coming weeks.
What is Bard? And what is its relationship with LaMDA?
Bard is an intelligent chatbot that can answer all questions and inquiries in the form of conversations. Similar to the ChatGPT artificial intelligence robot, but Bard stands out for its accuracy of information and reliability, as Google uses intelligent models to develop and test the service before launching it worldwide.
Bard is based on the dialogue model and the special conversation language of LaMDA applications. LaMDA aims to combine performance, intelligence, and human knowledge to generate diverse linguistic models. In addition to accurate answers, Bard also has revolutionary features such as intelligence and creativity in presenting answers and the ability to gather information from reliable sources across the internet.
Can robot Bard compete with ChatGPT?
Google, the dominant player in the search engine field, has definitely made a statement with its announcement of its intelligent chat robot, Brad.
The company has touted the quality of its responses and its ability to provide smart answers and keep users informed with the latest news and information. Meanwhile, ChatGPT’s data cut-off is from 2021 and it knows nothing about events that have taken place since then, due to its training on a specific time-frame of data.
Currently, Google is releasing updates for its LaMDA language, allowing robot Bard to reach a larger user base and gather more feedback. The company will use this feedback to improve the robot’s tests and ensure that the responses given by Bard are of the desired quality and continue to evolve to a higher level.
How to access robot Bard?
After the launch of the ChatGPT chat robot, users were able to test it by registering on the OpenAI website and easily accessing the tool. But for robot Bard, the situation is different because it is a new technology currently undergoing initial tests and will not be available for general use this year. Initially, access to this robot will only be available to a selected group of users for testing purposes.
